The One 8 Hotel in Green Point Solar Power

Excellent location and an easy walk to many restaurants and cafes! The staff were all very kind and attentive and the breakfast was delicious. We extended our stay and enjoyed every moment! Highly recommend!

Great hotel. Only negative is if you're American make sure you get extra insurance on your rental car like I did. Entry gates are tight from an American perspective and I put a pretty good dent in the side of my rental car trying to get out. Service though is excellent. They were more than willing to book activities for you and they booked a great helicopter tour of Cape Town.

Loved this hotel and will probably stay there again From check in to check out the service was great. This is a very secure hotel with coded entry gate and locked entry doors after a certain time. The room was medium sized with a balcony that looked out upon the pool and jacuzzi however due the time of year i was here (winter) no one was in the pool or jacuzzi. Also I could see the ocean from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Private bathroom with shower and double sinks. Television (which i never watched) present and an armoire that held a small refrigerator. And room for hanging clothes. Extra pillows and blankets were also avaliable in the room. The location is great for walking around the seapoint area of capetown or getting to the V & A waterfront. About a 20-25minute walk to mojo market. I give this boutique budget hotel 5 stars easily
