Modern Comfort with Sea View – But Caorle Has Its Limits We stayed two nights in a sea view suite at The One Hotel in Caorle – a sleek, modern place with great views and a high level of comfort. The suite was clean, stylish, and spacious – definitely one of the better options in the area. The rooftop pool and bar are a nice extra, especially after a long day. The breakfast, however, didn’t live up to the hotel’s standards: hectic atmosphere, long waits for coffee, and overall a bit underwhelming. For the price, we would have expected a more relaxed and refined start into the day. Still, if you’re after a high-end, short beach break with a modern hotel as your base, this place works well. Just don’t expect culinary highlights in town.
Very nice new hotel with garage parking and cool roof top. In silver family room was a little bit too cold for small kids. Stuff was very nice and kind. Only thing was that breakfast was every day the same and few meals were not properly cooked. Overall very good experience. Would come again.
IMPORTANT NOTE - I am reviewing the rooftop bar, not the hotel rooms. I’m gonna start off by pointing out that in our long stay in Caorle, we’ve managed to visit a bunch of restaurants and bars- both high-end and more modest, just to get the feel of what the customer service and the actual servings are like in different places. This is the first time I feel like I have to throughly describe our experience. First of, we had to wait 30 minutes just to order our drinks. Mind you, the bar opens at midnight for non-staying guests, and apparently closes at 1AM. This gives you half an hour to drink, and quickly leave. After placing our order the staff asked for payment IMMEDIATELY (which is very odd, usually the tab is opened in these types of places). This made us feel some type of way, as if the staff were unsure if we’re actually going to pay… Next, we get our drinks, and the staff members start to shut down the entire place. While we’re drinking, people were taking out the lights from the pool and moving statues around. Unpleasant. Felt very unwelcomed. Soon after a lady comes by to say that they’re closing. We finish our very brief visit in a filthy restroom and that’s it. Can’t deny the fact that the view is divine, but the rest is not it. Not the staff members, not the vibe, not even the idea of the place - seems to us, that if a place lets people in at midnight, you should have some time to enjoy it and have a couple of drinks instead of a rushed and interrupted one. Also, for a 5-star hotel the floor tiles on a show-off rooftop bar shouldn’t be moving as you walk on them. That should definitely be fixed as well. If you contemplate on staying here, I recommend staying at a similar idea of a hotel nearby- it has a 4-star rating, but at least the tiles don’t look like they’re about to pop.
