An exceptional place for an overnight stay, including curated multi-course breakfast and dinner, music performances and a guided introduction to the garden and buildings.

If it wasn’t for the high price tag, I’d bring all my foreign friends here for a night stay. This is quite an impressive estate. I’m thankful for all the patient and attentive staffs whom made the experience so much more memorable and exquisite. They took us onto a guided tour and detailed the history of this magnificent place. The serenity you get from walking around this piece of land is rare to come by loving in Taipei or any major cities in Taiwan. The accommodation included meals and each dish was carefully thought out, prepared and plated. I couldn’t find flaws during my 2 nights here. Perhaps just one suggestion and that’s to add more activities to do other than the guided tour and yoga. There were some cute games scattered around the main house but they were poorly maintained. More of those would be really great instead of circling the estate twice a day to work off the calories. Other than that, zero complaints.

very calming atmosphere and beautiful architecture. the food was delicious as well as the music :) however, the sign for entrance into the resort area is not very clear. there was only one sign pointing towards the directions but nothing else. all in all the staff was very friendly and welcoming so that’s alright. The room is cozy and has a large bath tub, however due to the humidity in taiwan, the room smells a bit like a public restroom, but it’s not unbearable.
