The food here was delicious and amazing. The yukata rental store staff had a very superb service and attitude (Abel), The restaurant manager (Febri) also superb! The rest of the staff not having lesser service level either. And of course the place, ambience is unique and nice. Definitely recommended and will return back for subsequent visit
Got Japanese ambience, with nice cold weather and beautiful scenery, also private natural hot spring experience. Very fun for family holiday. Unfortunately the villa not suitable for those who have legs problem, coz it's completely furnished with "Chabudai", you are completely must do "Zaisu" (seat on the floor).
The resort has everything to be the perfect vacation spot for people who want to experience a little of Japanese culture, especially the relaxing onsen. However, there are major issues I encountered during the visit that will ruin the experience. 1. Onsen The room onsen and the public onsen are beautiful and cozy. However, the water was barely warm, maybe only around 30 degrees celcius. It was found that the boiler was having issues and the water temperature is normally 41-42 degrees. If this issue is fixed, the experience will be improved drastically. 2. Food and the breakfast area The food is mediocre and does not offer many simple japanese options other than the miso/udon, teppanyaki, and subpar sushi rolls. Furthermore the are is filled with many flies that bothers the dining experience. Despite the problems mentioned above, the place is generally clean and the bathroom is well-maintained. The room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The lack of air conditioning is not an issue as the overall temperature is cozy and if it is still too hot, there is a portable fan provided. The wifi has decent speed and the room is spacious to hangout. Even though there is a slight criticism about the placement of electric sockets, overall it is a solid resort. There are many entertainment available around the area which includes, ATV riding, yukata rental, fishing, cafe, and paragliding experience at the peak (outside of the resort, but you may book through the resort). Transportting is also amazing as we could utilize the golf cart (with the driver) to travel around the resort or carry luggages. Overall it will be a major game-changer if only the 2 issues are managed. But, it is still a recommended place to stay for a couple of days.
