The Orchid Hotel Old Town & Drum Tower

If you are looking for the tasteless and soulless place, this is wrong place. This little hotel has a heart, its own identity. The members of the staff are incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The rooms are clean and thoughtful. The rooftop cafe has a nice breakfast menu; being situated at the rooftop gives you a nice breath of fresh air in the morning. I enjoyed every minute of my stay!

INCREDIBLE!!! This hotel its all you would want of a boutique experience. The house, the clean-modern-aesthetic-traditional design left us speechless. The staff, amazing. The food options, tasty and offer variety, the cats, well they are icons💁🏻‍♀️ Overall incredible experience

Staying at the Orchid Hotel has been the highlight of my trip to Beijing. The hotel is neatly tucked away in a very quiet part of the Hutong not far from the historic Drum Tower (can be seen from the hotel’s rooftop). Many landmarks, restaurants, bars, and shops are conveniently located nearby and can be explored by foot — my preferred option. In terms of the space, the hotel’s interior has been carefully designed to preserve the characteristics of the very historic neighborhood while adding a bit of modern aesthetics. Finally, I very much enjoyed interacting with the staff, who were very friendly and eager to share the real Beijing experience with the guests
