The Originals Ker Moor Preference

Highly recommended! Excellent position on the cliff top. A spacious bedroom which had a balcony overlooking the bay, large bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The hotel did not serve an evening meal although there are plenty within a 10/15min walk, however an excellent breakfast was served either in your room or in a small restaurant. The staff were very helpful particularly in the breakfast restaurant. An outdoor swimming pool was available although due to maintenance work was closed during our visit as was the staircase to the private beach, maybe we could have been informed of this on the web site as they are both strong selling points of the hotel. Well worth a visit as was St Quay itself!

Very welcoming and friendly team. I would imagine parking for free would be a problem during peak season. The room although not large was clean and had adequate cupboard and storage space and the view was exceptional. It was a relaxing break and the swimming pool which was a new addition is a big bonus. We have stayed at Ker Moor several times in the past and the fact that we looked forward to returning is commendation in itself. Thank you to all the team for making us welcome.

We didn't stay in the hotel itself but rented an apartment at the bottom of the hill for one week. Closed parking for one vehicle came included. The apartment was very modern and clean. We stayed with 6 people and although there were enough bed rooms, the living room and kitchen were a bit small to cater to us all at the same time. This wasn't the biggest problem though, as there was a spacious terrace and a very well-maintained garden in front of the apartment. The one thing that really bothered me was the form-over-function design of the bathroom. The shower pan is less than a centimeter deep and is almost completely open to the rest of the bathroom. As a result, you spend more time mopping the floor after you're done showering than actually showering. My obsession for bad bathroom design aside though, this is definitely a good place to stay in a lovely area. Can recommend.
