This hotel was beautifulnas soon as you pulled up to it. The beach scenery and the architecture are stunning. The daily free Orion beers at the bar was a nice tough to get people out and socializing. Lots of great Orion swag available. The aquarium is a 5 minute walk away which is convenient because you don't have to park your car at the aquarium. The beach viewing and swimming areas are great. Lots of cafes if you walk north of the hotel. The pool was nice. The "hot tub" was colder than the pool??? Staff were very helpful and got me set up with an air pump for my kids inflatables which was available for everyone by the pool. The Lawson next to the hotel had the most amazing view of any konbini we've seen. We will be coming back here next time!

+ points: right next to the aquarium, emerald beach, bise village. the hotel common areas such as the bar were stylish and a nice place to watch the sunset. - points: we felt that the hotel was stingy with many things given the price point of $300+ per night. for example, you had to pay $10 for parking (in Okinawa where parking is almost always free everywhere), pay extra to use the hot spring, the board games were not available to hotel guests drinking their welcome drink unless you bought a beer, cleaning was branded as "eco cleaning" which meant only your towels were replaced, NO bed making service was available which was quite horrifying for a $300 per night price point..., the rooms seem a bit dated. also the izakaya portions were small for the price point as well, compared to the usual japanese portions. also there is a queue at breakfast, the best time to go is probably 7 to 730am. if not be prepared to wait in line for a while.

Booked 2 rooms with breakfast but when we went down for breakfast in the morning, we were told to queue for 30 minutes! Can’t believe this! Being an hotelier, such things shouldn’t happen in a highly-rated hotel! Guests shouldn’t be made to queue for breakfast! BREAKFAST! Although the rooms were good and the buffet dinner was scrumptious, the queuing for breakfast had literally brought down hospitality of the hotel! There definitely should be ample space to house all guests for breakfast! Also, the onsen is expensive with no service! Water dispenser was empty and not refilled and on top of that, they collected ¥1,600 per person for using the onsen and it was noisy and not as clean as expected! Don’t recommend this hotel and if you can afford paying such a rate, stay in somewhere comparable!
