This was one of the best hotels that I’ve been to, and I travel all over the world. The service was unsurpassed. All the staff was extremely friendly. The views were amazing. The food was fresh and very healthy. There were other choices, but I chose to have salads with protein every night. They have a coffee shop with fresh smoothies and fresh baked goods. The hotel itself is beautiful and classic and has been very well maintained. historically I visited the spa, which was also very nice
We were really blown away by the hotel overall and the exceptional service. It's truly one of the best hotel experiences we've had, and we hope to be back one day. From the moment we arrived and received Lance's warm welcome, to the thoughtful touch of the mugs and waters, everything felt so special. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and the grounds were stunning. The majestic lobby area and back veranda were particularly impressive. Our room was amazing. We were so happy and surprised when we opened the door. Service was fantastic all around, and we really felt welcomed by the hospitality of all the staff. Room service was prompt, and no detail was overlooked — we ordered breakfast, and everything was perfect. The coffee shop was amazing, and Steakhouse 1909 was beautifully designed, just like the rest of the hotel. We were incredibly impressed by the hotel, and it exceeded many of our expectations. Thank you for creating such a special place!
This is a beautiful historic hotel in a charming town, home to the baseball Hall of Fame. The hotel abuts the end of an extraordinarily beautiful lake with vistas one can enjoy from comfortable chairs on the large back porch of the hotel. Truly stunning scenery. The hotel has Gilded Age charm, with many beautiful places to sit and enjoy the spacious lobby. Rooms were well appointed with high ceilings and comfortable beds. Four out of five stars awarded because the hotel is priced a bit too high, in my opinion. We paid $600 per night, and I believe ~$400 is a more appropriate range. Also, the little league family clientele was noticeable. I suspect a 12 year old shortstop was responsible for the fire alarm pull late in the evening. By chance, this is my second stay at the Otesaga that featured a fire alarm interruption.
