The Oxley Estate

We recently stayed at The Oxley Estate as part of an NDIS-supported getaway with my client, and it was absolutely perfect. From the peaceful location to the beautifully maintained grounds and spotless rooms, everything was ideal for a relaxing and accessible retreat. The accommodation was comfortable, quiet, and welcoming, just what we were looking for. Peter and Pauline were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and their genuine care for their guests really stood out. A special mention to the animals on the property, they were super friendly and fun to feed, which added a really enjoyable and unique touch to our stay. Highly recommend The Oxley Estate for anyone looking for a calm, supportive, and high-quality stay, especially for those in the disability support community.

Absolutely loved our stay at Oxley Estate! The hosts were so lovely and friendly — truly attentive and made us feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and they even gave us a lift into the center, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is perfect: serene, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature. We woke up to the peaceful sight (and sounds!) of donkeys, alpacas, and goats on their stunning big farm — such a unique and calming experience. The cabins are warm and cozy, even in winter, so don’t hesitate to visit during the colder months. It’s honestly such a special place. Couldn’t recommend it enough! We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Oxley Estate and I have wholehearted praise for the hospitality, friendliness, service and comfort of the experience with Peter and Pauline, the managers. The rooms were airy, clean, aesthetic, spacious and comfortable. The grounds are spacious with swimming pool, outdoor chess, basketball hoop, volleyball court and the local fauna makes a delightful setting. And of course Bella, the cat is the star attraction. We were so at ease with the Oxley Estate we intend to return in June 2025. There is so much to do and see with the quaint town of Portarlington, the golf club across the road and so many wineries as well as the Whiskery Gin Distillery. Oxley Estate is the perfect location for a quiet stay. Out of the town by less than 2-3km and yet so many enjoyable attractions.
