Overall enjoyable stay. Yes, the place could use some updates but it’s not too bad. Pros: Spacious rooms, Beautiful ocean views, beach access, 2 pools and 4 hot tubs, Sauna rooms. Access to small waterpark across the street. Felt safe and the environment was cool and calm. Security guards on site. Oh and I didn’t see any rodents in my room during my stay. 😂 Cons: BEWARE of either a $ 250 refundable deposit or $ one time flat rate of $39 for parking. Rooms could use more cleaning as far as sweeping and mopping. The extra pillow set, the pillowcase was dirty. (glad I bring my own bedding) Pools should be skimmed and cleaned every morning. I saw them shock them but not skim debris out.
We recently stayed at the Palace Resort through Elliott Rentals and unfortunately found several areas that need improvement. Before booking, I specifically asked about access to the H2O Waterpark and was told the passes would be included. They were not, a big disappointment and something that should have been communicated honestly upfront. The moment we walked into the lobby, there was an unpleasant smell — a mix of chlorine and something more like dirty diapers. The front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming, which set a disappointing tone for check-in. Amenities were underwhelming. The pools didn’t appear well-maintained, especially the indoor jacuzzi. The plastic divider between the indoor and outdoor pool areas was so dirty that passing through it felt unhygienic. Beach access is advertised, but it’s not particularly private. Our unit itself was lovely overall, but there was a faint odor when we first walked in. The balcony was smaller than expected, and while functional, it didn’t offer much space to relax. One odd design flaw was the TV placement in the main bedroom, it was mounted so high that watching it from bed meant craning your neck at an uncomfortable angle. While the location is good, the property could benefit from better maintenance, honest communication about amenities, friendlier service, and a few simple cleanliness and design upgrades to make the stay more enjoyable. To be fair, my perspective might be a bit biased, as we’ve previously stayed at Renaissance Tower and Ocean Creek both of which offered a much higher overall experience.
We just stayed there Aug 2-Aug 9, 2025. The room we stayed in was very outdated. Thankfully, we didn’t plan on using the stove because the burners was up and looked like they didn’t fit properly. Not sure where it was coming from but the whole condo almost always smelled like smoke. Being that we are a none smoking family we went and bought room deodorizers to try to help with it. We were on the 20th floor, the view was gorgeous.
