Beware: Sudden Closure Without Notice or Refund Like many other members who purchased annual memberships, I was shocked when this gym abruptly closed their beach club location without any prior announcement or communication. When members inquired about refunds for unused membership time, we were simply told our money was gone with no compensation offered. After a year, the management has indicated they plan to reopen in approximately two months, but they've made it clear that existing members will not receive refunds due to financial difficulties. Their business model appears to rely on new member fees to sustain operations for the next five years, raising serious concerns about long-term viability and whether this cycle might repeat. Red flags: - Zero advance notice of closure - No refund policy for prepaid memberships - Admitted financial instability - Unclear timeline for reopening - Questionable long-term sustainability I strongly recommend potential members consider these factors before committing to any long-term membership agreements. The lack of transparency and member protection is concerning for anyone considering this establishment.

I became a member of the Palms Health Club in April last year and two months later they closed the entire place without any prior information to the members! The membership money for the entire year was paid upfront (600kd), it’s so unprofessional for such a big establishment to renew or encourage new membership if they knew they are closing down! Till date no communication or offer for refund , as an expat in Kuwait this is so disappointing and leaves a terrible impression of this country!

I stayed here twice. Years ago it was fine and nice. That’s why we booked again a couple of months ago but did not receive the same experience. Room was dirty and dusty. Shower was clogged, which was disgusting. Our biggest issue is with the insects. My niece got bit by something in the kids play area (something in the carpets + chairs, not the playhouse as my nephew was playing there and didn’t get bit. It happened so fast and she had so many itchy bites all of a sudden. (See attached picture, this was taken recently) 2 months later, the scars are still there. Will not be staying here again.
