The Palms Kamala Beach SHA Extra Plus

Very nice hotel with huge pools, adults and kids. Big rooms with balconies. Room service on request. Refrigerator in the room. What I didn't like, bed mattress is very firm. Staff are friendly and speaks English. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to Kamala beach. A lot of restaurants around, 7 eleven store open 24h. I would come back again

You might not recognize the hotel from far distance as usual hotels because it has no elevation, locates beside narrow road and a restaurant hides it. However, when you arrive, you diffinetly discover the beauty of the hotel. We rented a three bedroom apartment, the master bedroom and the Hall have sea view while the the other rooms without windows. We have a private Jacuzzi and sitting area at the roof. The view from the roof is stunning. Supermarkets, money exchange, massage shops, souvenirs shops and restaurants as well as the beach are within few minutes walking. It has two tall swimming pools surrounding the building. Rooms cleaning are in request other wise the take the rubbish and put bottles of water. The staff are friendly and cooperative, and let us early check in and an hour late check out even though a female receptionist wants to charge us 500 bahts but finally they didn't do it.

Just a simple budget hotel hides inside a restaurant with limited facilities like a gym, restaurant and a swimming pool. There is not even a hotel main entrance. The staff are helpless and unfriendly. The gym equipment is dirty and smelly. Very dusty inside the rooms, especially the floors. Bath towels are dirty and smelly. No room cleaning service, drinking water and shower gel are provided even requested many times.
