The Palms Resort of Mazatlan

This place is gorgeous, I visited the PANAMA restaurant with family. We where very impressed with the quality of food. And the ocean view was simply breathtaking.

Nice resort, the pool is amazing! Some of the rooms are renovated and others are a bit outdated but other than that the staff is very nice. Highly recommend the restaurant Panama that they have, the food is great.

The staff does not allowed visitors unless you are willing to pay 400 pesos although they will not be staying the night or using the pool. They refuse to let visitors past the lobby. The front desk refuse to show me where in the policy does it state that and of course no where in the policy do they have that written down. I have stayed at the palms before and let the old building look pass and the construction because of the beautiful view but there are many hotels that offer the same view as I was able to experience this time around. The front desk refuse to work with me for one simple day that my dad was visiting to get some stuff from me. The only nice staff we encountered was the cleaning crew which make sure my room was sweep everyday and gave me fresh towels everyday. As you can see on the pictures the rooms need cleaning and need to be updated . You will find broken sinks or equipment, you can’t turn the A/c lower than 70 degrees or it won’t work. The vents need major cleaning and I let yall judge the walls. The transparent blinds are missing , and the furniture needs to be updated. While the views are nice and the Panama restaurant is in the building the staff was so also so unfriendly.
