The Park Nine Hotel Srinakarin

We booked an executive room but got an upgrade to one bedroom as the executive room was not ready by the time we got there. The room was very large with a balcony, a kitchenette , a full size fridge, an internet tv and a washing machine. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower and bath. The room was a bit dated but it was well maintained. The bed was good but the pillow was a bit too high for my liking. The best thing about this hotel is the swimming and garden. The pool is shaded under many trees which make it ideal for swimming all day. Fitness has decent equipment with a sauna and steam room. Breakfast was decent and the service was good. The location is not too far from the MRT and there areamany restaurants nearby.

Very disappointed in the overall experience. My room at Park Nine was double booked. When I asked the front desk to cancel one of the reservations, she refused and hence I had to pay for two payments for only a one night stay. One payment via booking.com whilst another payment via my credit card. I’m 64 years old and I have been traveling for the last 45 years of my life. This is the first time such unaccommodating experience was bestowed upon me. I am very sorry to have to write a negative review about this apparently fantastic hotel.
