My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and we loved it. The stairs are steep to floor 3 so prepare for that. But the overall feel of this place is welcoming and we loved it. Would definitely recommend it. If we ever get to return to Amsterdam, we will return to the Toren as well.
Fantastic Stay at The Toren Excellent location right on the canal and close to everything. The hotel is beautiful, and the manager and staff is truly first class—professional, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend for a luxurious and memorable stay in Amsterdam.
We loved where the hotel is located. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. It is now named Torrens. We loved the suite. It was out back off a courtyard with 2 other suites. Our bed was an issue as it was 2 singles pushed together, but not joined, so they moved apart during the night, and one was lower than the other. we did mention this after the 2nd night. We were assured that housekeeping would be informed and fix, but they still drifted apart. Also on departure you will be charged a city tax. 50 euro per night on top of room charge.
