The Paxton Hotel

Paxton holds the key to South Africa's flourishing hospitability. The bedding is an envy. The posture of the front staff was so impressive. A walk between Paxton and Broadwalk Centre was more than re-gaining lost physical health. Lots of oceanic scenes to view. I visited in 2018 and continued to keep track of the sweet memories. I recommend this inviting leisure space to everyone.

I stayed at The Paxton while in PE for a business trip. I enjoyed my stay so much. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I asked to change rooms for better view and they made sure to carefully move my stuff with my permission. Their rooms are comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was also great, there’s occasionally flies which killed my appetite. Overall, great staff, so respectful of guests, beautiful view and comfortable rooms.

Currently staying at The Paxton Hotel until Monday in their wheelchair accessible (paraplegic) room. The bathroom in this room has definitely not been designed by someone who has knowledge on accessible bathrooms. Thr position on the toilet woth no grab rails and a shower glass right infront of the toilet makes it difficult to use the toilet. The shower seat is small and you have to sit woth your back against the wall to try and gain space on the seat and definitely not safe for someone who is wet and soapy. There's only 1 grab rail in the shower and in a very awkward position which is definitely not intended to assist guests who have no use of their legs and or arms. Definitely would not recommend this hotel room as wheelchair accessible
