The Peabody Memphis

Thoroughly enjoyed this historic hotel. We are traveling with our pet and were so happy to spend a few days in this lovely hotel that accommodates pets. We were greeted with a gift bag of dog bowl, leash, and duck toy. That was a lovely surprise. The location is downtown within 15 minutes of Graceland, sun studios and civil rights museum. We walked to a great place to board our dog for 1 day. Mutt Island which I highly recommend. I recommend taking the time to enjoy the Duck Walk ceremony. The duck master and team are very accommodating for children to give them a memorable experience. Staff are very friendly. We did miss coffee in the room but it is readily available downstairs. Overall a great experience we hope to return again.

Very luxurious hotel staff goes out of their way to be welcoming. They welcomed our pet we were traveling with with a welcome gift bag. The location was great just a short walk to Beale Street. Enjoyed the evening march of the resident ducks to their night quarters. Would definitely stay again

Right the heart of Memphis and has the famous duck walk! You can actually see the duck walk at the second floor but if you want pictures up close as they come out the elevators, then come early (an hour or more before) to get a good seat. Otherwise, you can just wait until all the busy entry is done and take pictures of the ducks as they enjoy their time at the fountain. We ate at the restaurant near the lobby and it was great food and quiet. Very different from the lobby restaurant where we couldn’t even hear each other. Overall a good experience and worth a try if you’re in Memphis.
