The Peaks Resort and Spa

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel…it truly is an experience! The staff is inviting and willing to go above and beyond. We have been coming for over 20 years and I would not stay anywhere else with my kids. Ashley at concierge is so friendly and no question is out of her reach. The staff at the pool bar are friendly, helpful and approachable! If you need a quick getaway consider staying at the Peaks.

We just used the spa amenities. It’s is massive. The pool is good - chairs not super comfy but hard to beat being on The Mountain Village. The music was bad unfortunately (tons of F bombs - commercials etc) but they responded well when we brought it to the staffs attention. The lounges were well appointed. We stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek and were able to use the amenities at The Peak which was a great perk. Just a 6-7 min walk away.

We have stayed at this resort traditionally for about a week each summer for four years. We likely will continue to. -Rooms are spacious and views are great, but the rooms are EXTREMELY DATED and really not given much service. Even little things like a new caulk line along sink doesn't get done. Outlets loose, towel racks bent or falling apart. Cabinets horribly aged and needing replacement or at least some paint. -Restaurant food is decent, but service is very very slow for sit down. Was 45 minutes before first piece of food hit our table. Manager was very quick to address our issues once we voiced them. Server was very apologetic. That said, room service from same restaurant was typically 20 minutes from order to door. -Valet parking is painless. Nice staff. Quick to respond. -Front Desk was outstanding. Quick to take care of every need. Truly impressed by them.
