Loved staying here! Our room was cozy and clean. I loved having a simple breakfast in the morning before we headed out for the day. Even if you do not stay at the hotel, you should eat at their restaurant, the Pony Boy! The food was amazing - the pickle dip is a must-try! Our room was right next to the restaurant, so it was a little loud at night. One day we did request housekeeping for our room, but it did not happen. We ended up just requesting clean towels and we received those promptly. Overall, we loved staying here and would recommend it to friends and family.
I chose to stay here specifically because they advertised free breakfast, which was a big deal for me since I was traveling with my three kids. Turns out that was a complete lie. At check-in, I was told there was no free breakfast—just an overpriced menu. I ended up ordering anyway, and my daughter took one bite of the breakfast sandwich and said it was clearly just a frozen Jimmy Dean. $8 for that? Seriously? Later, I asked about the free bikes they advertised. Surprise, none of the four bikes actually worked. Not one. And it didn’t stop there—the air conditioning barely functioned, and the bathroom fan took a full 10 minutes to even start up. This stay was one letdown after another. I won’t be coming back, and honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed.
Cute hotel but do not have your wedding here! My best friend had her wedding celebration here in January and the staff was mostly rude only some were polite. Many of the family and friends were overcharged for the rooms, seems like the hotel had to double dip to make ends meet that weekend. Tacky habits, tacky staff apparently. Bummer it's such a cute hotel - it might be nice to have a weekend here but do not plan a wedding or an event here. The planning group does not know what they are doing. Disgusting and embarrassing.
