The Pearl of Naithon

Fantastic pool, right on the beach, lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Sea is crystal clear and great for snorkelling. People are extremely friendly. So much to do very close by.

This used to be a nice condo, but the recent influx of Russian tourists has completely ruined this place in particular and Phuket in general. It’s impossible to enjoy our holiday due to the constant yelling of kids by the pool and the nonstop construction work outside. And don't make me mention INSANE traffic situation outside, like you're in Manila or somewhere overpopulated. Tropical paradise no longer. The apartments are aging, and many are poorly maintained despite the high price tag. We experienced issues with air conditioning, basic plumbing, and a musty "abandoned tropical house" smell—you name it. I guess this place is well past its prime. Next time, we’re staying elsewhere.

The place is being literally destroyed by unbelievable number of low-quality tourists running away from the war and abusing Thai lax immigration laws. Dirty pool, yelling children, food scarps everywhere, no parking etc. Defo not a 4* anymore, 3* at best. Avoid.
