The Pera Hotel

I have stayed in many Airbnbs and hotels in this area of Istanbul, and this was by far my best experience. As a solo female traveler, safety is my top priority, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. From housekeeping (special thanks to İnci Hanım) to the reception team (Burhan and Ahmet Bey), everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Plus, the hotel is owned by a woman, which makes it even more special! 💜 I stayed here for over a month, and it truly felt like my second home. The cleanliness is outstanding. The location is also perfect whether you’re visiting for tourism or business, the metro is just a 1 minute walk away, allowing you to reach any part of the city easily without wasting time in traffic. The front-facing rooms are great for short stays, while the back rooms are more suitable for long-term stays. If you're looking for a safe, clean, and centrally located hotel in Istanbul, I highly recommend this place!

Burhan, Ahmet and the entire staff at the Pera Hotel made me feel welcome and looked after from the moment I set foot through the door. Their hospitality exceeded expectations and for the modest room fee, I had a cute little apartment that was beyond what I had imagined. The hotel is in a vibrant and lively location. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe in the area and grateful for their care. I would recommend to anyone.

Our stay at The Pera Hill Hotel was nothing short of fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is perfectly located – tucked away on a quiet street, yet just steps from the lively Istiklal Avenue and Taksim Square. Everything you need – restaurants, shops, landmarks – is within walking distance! Location: 10/10 But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the amazing breakfasts and especially two absolutely wonderful ladies – Rasha and Claudie. From the moment you enter the breakfast area, they greet you with warm smiles and a positive vibe that lifts your whole morning. Claudie’s pancakes – wow! Fluffy, fresh, and simply delicious – easily the best we had in Istanbul! Rasha is incredibly attentive and kind – always making sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. Their energy and hospitality made each breakfast feel like a warm hug. They are the heart of the hotel! Service: 11/10 And let’s not forget the rooftop terrace – having breakfast with a stunning view over the city? Yes please! Perfect way to start the day. Atmosphere: unforgettable Bonus tip: The hotel has a cozy pub called Dapub downstairs – hotel guests get 10% off, which we didn’t realize until too late. You don’t even need to leave the hotel – just take the elevator down!
