Cannot fault this wonderful pub and accommodation. Accommodation is set across from the main pub but unlike some places where it feels like an after thought this worked really well. Room 1 was very spacious and very comfy bed and pillows. Lovely powerful shower (though would say toilet seat was very wonky!). Plenty of towels and toiletries. Look out for happy hour prices in the pub and early dining deal. If you sign up to Fullers you also get sent a code to get a free drink at the bar! Breakfast was superb - hot and cold choices. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the New Forest. Dogs can stay here too on the ground floor
Of the 3 pubs in Marchwood, this is by far the best. The building itself is stunning, with well set up outside seating. Food is good, though the menu has been reduced, but what comes out is really nice and comes out quickly. Staff are great, too. My only minor complaint is that the drinks are on the pricey side.
Room was stunning, but they advertised a/c on the website which is why we booked and there wasn't any so we felt a bit cheated. Also they served us raw sausages we had to send back.
