An absolute nightmare. Disappointing stay and do not recommend booking this property or booking through Gold Coast Holiday Houses. They only publish positive reviews on their website so you do not get a true idea of what other tenants experienced during their stay at this house. Further, Gold Coast Holiday Houses communication and customer service is very poor. Especially when it comes to bond refunds, and raising issues on property maintenance. My family and I hired The Pinnacle for 4 nights through Gold Coast Holiday Houses for my wedding. We had so many issues. The house itself has many maintainance issues. Light bulbs in the main chandelier don’t work. Dishwasher which is very heavy falls forward and onto the floor. The bed down stairs is very loud and uncomfortable, to the point that my sisters husband ended up sleeping on the floor. The photo they use as advertising on Google is a false representation of the fire place. There is a big sign when you get there saying you are not allowed to use the fire place! Our stay was disappointing and we certainly regret hiring this house.

The Pinnacle at Hope Island is actually a beautiful property however there are a lot of hidden facts that people are not made aware of prior to booking this property, which is totally unfair and wrong. The Pinnacle is marketed and priced as a luxury home and can be booked on various different platforms, however none of these platforms mention the STRICT body corporation rules and regulations that come with this property. Nor do they mention the community problems and issues at present. Unfortunately, our family holiday was destroyed as a result of this. ‘The Pinnacle’ is managed by 'Gold Coast Holiday Homes' let me tell you, their customer service and care factor have a lot to be desired. I actually feel sorry for the owner of this property as the people representing him are definitely not doing him any favours and are actually damaging his investment. We were informed that 'The Pinnacle' was not a party house and there was strictly no noise outdoors between the hours of 8am and 10pm. We didn't plan on having any parties and respected the noise rule, so this wasn't a problem for us, plus we were there to unwind and relax. What we were not told was that within this gated community there is currently a court battle. Apparently, there are only two holiday rental properties within this community and the remaining property owners and Body Corp are fighting this as they don't believe this should be allowed. Therefore, the neighbours surrounding 'The Pinnacle' are making daily complaints and false accusations to prove a point and to drive their court battle. We were also not advised that we would be charged every time a security officer addressed each of these complaints. After receiving an emailed invoice, we discovered this was the case, I immediately called 'Gold Coast Holiday Homes' to find out if we could leave this property and receive a refund for the remaining time we had already paid for. I was advised that this was not possible. Kerrie who I spoke to couldn't care less, I had paid in full and it was bad luck. The security guards were all lovely and so apologetic each and every time they visited us, they actually advised us that one of the complaints was that we were talking too loudly (inside the property with all the doors closed while my 5-year-old child slept). They also advised us that the information provided by 'Gold Coast Holiday Homes' was incorrect as they don't have any times stipulated in their Body Corporation rules, it simply states "There can't be excessive noise". My question was who determines what excessive noise is? Very very disappointing and definitely not a property I would recommend. I would also never recommend renting a property through 'Gold Coast Holiday Homes'

Can you give 0 stars? If your after sub standard hospitality, extra expenses deducted without your authority, not being able to speak after 8pm, kids not felt welcome and if you want to holiday in a HORRIBLE neighbourhood....well this place is right up your alley.!!! Please enjoy NOT being able to enjoy the swimming pool, and don't even think about turning the tv on, if it actually works enjoy the 3 minutes before it either goes mute or the neighbours complain it's gold! And heaven forbid you laugh or talk between the hours of 6am till 6am!!! Other than that the house nice...
