An absolutely stunning property that exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the elegant decor and serene ambiance that makes The Plettenberg Hotel truly special. The food was a definite highlight every meal was a delight, beautifully presented. What really stood out was the hospitality. The entire team, from reception and housekeeping to the waiters and security, were warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive. It’s rare to experience service of this caliber true hospitality at its best. While the spa is on the smaller side, it’s perfect for quick treatments. Overall, I’d rate my stay 11 out of 10. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in style and comfort. A true gem in Plettenberg Bay!
I got the hotel recommended by a colleague and wow she was right! The highest level of service is almost unreal, the rooms are amazing! The cappuccino at breakfast is absolutely on point, which is rare to find, the views are to die for and every member of staff treats you like a princess (which I love 😍).
Our stay at The Plettenberg was superb! The hotel is quiet, private and exclusive, without being pretentious, and our room was spacious with spectacular views. We ended up eating all of our meals here rather than dealing with the masses in town as the food at Amelia’s was outstanding. I can highly recommend the seafood platter. Like most great hotels, what makes a place exceptional is the staff.
