A brilliant hidden gem, and a wonderful family friendly pub with amazing food! A party of 9, all different dishes, every single meal was fantastic. The service was absolutely amazing too, the girls were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - would recommend highly!

We love the food here as the general, the Sunday & specials menus are all full of great choices. We have always had excellent food & service. My only slight criticism is that the last time we went the recipe seemed to have changed on the beetroot/liquorice cheesecake which was my absolute favourite but hey ho it means that I need to try other desserts & find a new go to! Have never stayed here however we have thought about it so that we can relax & enjoy some drinks too, especially as the rooms & the breakfast look amazing!

I booked a table online, only to find when we arrived there was no booking confirmed as they had, had trouble with the internet. Secondly, I think the food is over priced for what you get and vegetables are an extra cost on top of an already highly priced main course. Thirdly, three out of the four of us, had Tummy trouble the next day, which I can say was not pleasant. Myself and my wife will not return. It's a pub, not a posh london restaurant, an over priced experience.
