The Plough Inn & Restaurant

I met someone very special there. It was the first time we had met, and it was a lovely, relaxed few hours. The staff were friendly, and the food was good. I have Coeliac disease and they catered for me well.

Had a fabulous meal, food was amazing, good value for money, excellent service can't fault anything. Daisy our waitress was attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend.

Ok… I met my friend here for a light lunch, the pub is very well kept and was full of life - sartorial ladies and gents in abundance due to a wedding being held in the large space at the rear. Lots of details looked after inc fresh flowers on all the bar tables and vases of blousy Dalia’s dotted around… The menu is large with many pub classics being served. We ordered simple food and it arrived quickly. Being honest what we ate was good my friend enjoyed her little steak and onion rings and my prawn bap was well a prawn bap! We didn’t venture into any of the starters or main course plates or even pudding! However, the tables were full around us and all patrons were having a lovely time. We also didn’t make it past coffee and a G&T so I cannot report on the beer sadly. Plenty of veggie and vegan options inc dessert. The service was great, thanks team. We will return and promise to have a bigger appetite and a greater sense of adventure. Congrats to the lovely couple tying the knot x Cheers
