Came all the way from Halifax and just randomly picked this pub off google what a little gem. Food, staff and service all spot on the Sunday lunch was amazing🤤 So glad we found this place. Would definitely have a little drive out from Halifax the food was so nice. Well done to all the staff✔️
Friendly staff, delicious food. Had the mint pea soup, Korean short rib and caramel chou pastry. All exceptional, only comment would be the rib could have done with some rice or salad to balance the richness of the rib/sauce. Nevertheless still 5 star, would happily go again.
Lovely room. Very comfortable. Hotel is in a lovely location. Dinner was excellent, however I can't give it 5 stars because the breakfast was awful. My wife had an omelette which was dry and I had full English which had been kept warm. Sausage was solid, bacon dry, etc. Otherwise our stay was great
