Would definitely stay there again. Clean and comfortable, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Just a short walk from the town centre and transport links. My room faced the main road and as it's very hot at the minute this was quite noisy at night with the window open. But you can't blame the hotel for that.
Booked a double room for the night, was told the room was £109 and £50 cash deposit. Paid £160 with no £1 change. The room was like a shoe box with the bed being pretty much half the size of a double! There was a big mould patch on the ceiling. The bathroom sink was in the middle of the bedroom as it didn’t fit in the tiny space. The shower was so dirty we didn’t even want to use it. There was a horrible damp smell in the room. We ended up leaving half way through the night. Both people on reception on arrival and checkout were not welcoming at all, very miserable. Would never stay here again! Absolute rip off for what you get.
