Lovely hotel in beautiful hamlet. Quiet road. A short drive from Dorchester and Weymouth great value. I paid £100 for bed and breakfast for two. Good quality cooked breakfast with fruit juice and cereal. Small outdoor pool big enough for swimming, very tranquil. Pool is solar heated by pumping water through black coils, so a bit chilly for us but it was April. Evening pub grub was good apart from mozzarella sticks which were disappointingly shop bought plasticky. However quality of roast pork and cooked breakfast was very good. Very friendly service. Would gladly stay again in Summer
3 star pub for atmosphere but gets 4 for amazing customer service. We were so well looked after on our stay and the staff couldn't do enough for us (especially Ella!) The chef made great efforts to cook different vegan options every night and even for breakfast. Nice to hang by the pool too and the village is gorgeous.
A very friendly small hotel with excellent service. We had dinner and all enjoyed the food. However our rooms smelt damp. They were on the ground floor and both nights we were disturbed by other guests walking past and talking loudly. Not the fault of the hotel however.
