The Poplars Moulton

Lovely traditional small hotel/b&b. Friendly welcome and we’re very accommodating allowing us to check in early to get ready for a wedding. Room was clean with a fan (which was a godsend in the heatwave) fluffy pillows and tea and coffee. En-suite looked newly refurbished. Breakfast was plentiful with cereal and fruit + hot options and plentiful coffee and toast, The lady serving us breakfast was just lovely , so friendly . The village is rural but does have a co-op store and pubs. Perfect little stop if you like a traditional b&b.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, which was greatly appreciated. There was shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom too. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and were made to feel at home. They recommended the Artichoke pub to us, which was just a short walk down the road and it didn't disappoint. We had dinner there and it was reasonable and delicious. Our breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the service and kindness from the lady who took care of us was exceptional. Thank you. We will be back again.

Could not fault the hotel, with it's great location. Various pubs and local shops, 5 minutes walk away. Booked into a single room with shared bathroom facilities, although wary when booked, this was not an issue. Bathroom and toilet facilities were kept clean and no waiting on others to use. Staff were so welcoming and informative, matching the great spring sunshine I was treated to. Top marks for the cooked breakfast, it set me up for the day. With other great options available.
