The President Hotel offers a reliable mix of comfort, cleanliness, and great food — making it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers. Rooms are spacious, staff is courteous, and the property is well-maintained. One of the highlights is the good breakfast spread with plenty of variety, and the multiple themed restaurants (including rooftop lake-view dining) add to the overall experience. It lives up to its 4-star status with strong service and quality amenities. While it may be slightly on the pricier side, the experience justifies the cost. For those on a tighter budget, there are simpler options nearby — but if you’re looking for a comfortable and complete stay in Hubli, this hotel won’t disappoint.

rarely leave long negative reviews, but my experience at [Hotel Name: President / Present] in Hubli was so consistently disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other travelers — especially those expecting decent hospitality, warm food, or even basic courtesy from staff. 1. Food: Served Stone Cold — Repeatedly The meals I was served were not just lukewarm — they were outright cold, as if they’d been plated long before being brought to the table. I tried giving the kitchen the benefit of the doubt the first time, but after requesting fresh hot food and still receiving barely warm dishes, I realized this wasn’t a one-off accident; it’s a service standard failure. • Main course arrived cold. • Bread/rotis stiff and dry, clearly not fresh. • Even items that must be hot for safety/taste (gravies, rice) were cold. • When I raised it, response was dismissive, not apologetic. 2. Service & Staff Behavior: Shockingly Rude Hospitality begins with attitude. Sadly, the wait staff here seemed irritated that I even asked for edible, hot food. Tone was curt; body language uninterested. At one point, I was almost made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking for what I had already paid for. Specific behavior issues I faced: • Waiter placed plates abruptly without a word and walked off. • When I said the food was cold, the response was something like “It’s like this only” (in a flat tone, no apology). • Follow-up requests took too long — and when food returned, still not hot. • No effort to check back on the table. If management is reading this: your service culture needs urgent retraining.
