Fabulous hotel. Large, spacious and meticulously clean rooms. Wonderful location. We loved it. Friendly staff. The doorman was delightful. Thank you for a perfect stay in Portland.

This review is more focused on their valet, the hotel and rooms are fine. I would highly suggest NOT using it. Not only is it expensive, but the company that runs it is NOT A PART OF THE PRESS HOTEL. Let me repeat, they have the signage and tags of PRESS, but they're outsourced and through a different company. I valeted my valeted my car for $76 for 2 days and unbeknownst to me, they parked my brand new car in an open lot in the middle of Portland downtown and it got COMPLETELY destroyed by Seagull poop. A dozen or so medallion sized poops ALL over my car. Did they clean it? wash it? help in any way? Nope. I'll never be using it again. I got an email back saying, sorry, we'll talk to them. Do better next time press, and maybe you should have looked at the amount of times i've stayed there. Valet at your own risk.

The rooms are ok but we found bugs on the bed. Not sure what kind they are but definitely not ok for this kind of boutique nice hotel. The restaurant is mediocre at best... expensive and the portions might as well be for kids or part of a sampler, and the wait staff (at least the one we had) was not good at all. You have to beg for water as the only 2 water bottles in the room cost $6 each and one of them is sparkling. They tell you that you can refill the bottle at one of the 2 water stations downstairs but housekeeping just threw the one $6 bottle we had. Then to make matters worse, at the end of the horrendous experience, they offered us Marriott points (which never showed up) and a promise to get the eco team in the room after we checked out... I honestly thought they may just comp the stay in addition to the points that they promised seeing that we had BED BUGS! but that's just wishful thinking I suppose. Lastly, the walls are paperthin... I could hear literally everything in the next room. The gym was probably the only nice thing!
