The Prince of Wales Hotel

Wonderful hotel with AMAZING staff. A group of us had a wonderful stay in The Price of Wales to celebrate mid-term and meeting up after covid. We had a beautiful lunch with wonderful service from an amazing lady, we had such much fun and laughs over lunch. Later, we had a beautiful evening meal in the bar followed by cocktails. The young man working the night shift warmly welcomed us back after a few hours hanging out in the local bars. He was so friendly and helpful despite the late hour. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The shower and coffee machine were both brand new. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location,free parking, amazing staff. We will return. Thank you all Monica & Co

We went to the Prince of Wales Hotel in downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake specifically for High Tea. We have been to many high teas in different towns and cities. The one here has to be the absolute worst!!!The smoked salmon sandwiches (not a traditional high tea sandwich) were served on stale white bread!! Actually, all the breads were not fresh, including the egg-filled croissants. The scones were dry and tasteless. I discovered a dark hair in mine so I sent it back. Apologies were given but it didn't reflect any changes to our bill, which was $55/per person. When my niece made the reservation she said that 2 of us were celebrating our birthdays. Birthday wishes were not mentioned by the server. Nothing. Shame on Prince of Wales Hotel for serving inferior high tea at a very high price.
