The Principal Madrid Small Luxury Hotels

Our stay at the Principal came at the end of our trip to Spain. The hotel is beautiful, from the stained glass windows in the spiral staircase to the grand lobby area, not to mention the rooftop area with sweeping views. I wish that I could remember the name of the gentleman who checked us in as he was such an integral part of our stay. He gave us a map upon check-in with personalized recommendations. I mentioned I wanted to check out the Loewe store and he contacted the store for us and we were able to skip the line and have the most wonderful experience in that store. His suggested location of good restaurants led us to a delicious dinner in a great restaurant. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The location was wonderful, the suite was large and the AC gets very cool. An amazing experience all around!

This is our family’s second time staying here. The service and cleanliness is wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was cleaned meticulously everyday and it was amazing. Javier was so kind, welcoming and helpful. He greeted us with a beautiful smile and kindness every time we returned to the hotel. He always went out of his way to get the elevator for us and helped us with our bags when we arrived and left. Everyone at the front desk and bar area were also very kind. We hope to return for another visit in the future.

A great stay. The hotel is in a great location, right in the center. The room was perfect, overlooking the busy street. The room was very large with high ceilings and bluetooth speakers in the room. We enjoyed the turn down service before bed where they also left candies every night. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooftop bar was not open during our stay however, we were able to go up there to watch the sunset.
