The Privilege Hotel Ezra Beach Club

Stayed here for a night before my international flight. I was in the main building right above the reception, not in the bungalows by the pool. Overall great experience... service was nice and quick, welcome drink was tasty, and the beds are super comfy too. You can hear traffic from the main road passing by, but it didn’t bother me at al... I slept well. The smart TV had Netflix and Prime .. not sure if it was from the hotel or someone forgot to log out ;-) Will definitely use it in future, for layovers again. Also there is a great barber shop across the street, and a nice Thai restaurant.

This was a little slice of heaven! The view from our ocean view room was exactly as advertised, and it was spectacular! The room itself was great, with good AC. The pool was very well kept, and being right on the ocean front was amazing. Staff was terrific, and the room cleaning was top notch. It's a great location both due to proximity to the Fisherman's village, and also if you want to go to either West or East coast. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent, with excellent service, and changing variety daily. A real must if you're there on a Monday evening is their dinner on the beach special. The ambience and views were exceptional, the food plentiful and amazing, and the live music surprisingly good :-). Would definitely stay here again!

We were really looking forward to our stay at this 5-star hotel in Thailand, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations at all. The biggest issue was the bathroom: there was visible mold in the shower area, which is simply unacceptable – especially for a hotel of this category. We reported the problem and asked to change rooms, but were told that this wasn’t possible. Instead, they just covering up the issue. But there was still more mold remained and was still clearly visible. To make matters worse, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned throughout our stay. The toilet, mirrors, and surfaces were not cleaned even after we pointed this out to the staff. This is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The food was also a bit overpriced. While there were some vegetarian options available what we liked, there weren’t many Western-style dishes, which made brunch at the hotel rather limited. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel and would not return.
