We had an amazing stay at the lantern with our family. The reservations team were so nice & offered us a free room upgrade. We enjoyed the facilities of this hotel. The rooms are spacious & clean. The swimming pool is a must visit! Our family spent most of our time at the pool & had such a great time! Lantern Patong is a good consideration for your stay if you’re looking for a location that is nearby everything. Bangla road is just a 5mins stroll. "5-star experience at The Lantern Hotel! 🤩 The service was top-notch, and the staff were super friendly and hospitable. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the central location was perfect - just 5 minutes' walk to Bangla Street and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and live music venues. 🌟 We had to check out and head to another city, but the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us until we returned, which was a huge relief. 🙌 Can't recommend this hotel enough! 👍👍👍👍👍"

Unfortunately, many of my previous reviews by others are accurate. We must not forget that in Thailand, no one takes a 14-day holiday, and although it is difficult for us to understand, it is simply not necessary to install wardrobes in hotel rooms, which incur significantly higher costs. However, there is absolutely no way to store your belongings outside of your suitcase. Even in the bathrooms, perhaps even less understandably, there is only one hook and no power sockets. And yes, in many places, the shower head holder is loose or barely attached to the wall. The service is not great and certainly not 4-star by international standards. The breakfast is delicious but visually and spatially rather lacking. Overall, it is a 3-star hotel and, depending on the discount system, really too expensive. Nevertheless, it is a good place for me and if I were to come back, I would stay here again.
