The Publican's Palace

Loved this little home away from home which is surprisingly not so little! Close to shops, pubs, water, ferry etc... central little town to many destinations. Rob was so lovely and easy to communicate with! 100% recommend and would return.

We loved it here! The house itself is clean and incredibly well set up for guests, with lots of spaces inside and out for eating, lounging, reading and playing. The hosts are lovely. It's a short walk to the beach (love the outside shower (with hot water!) for rinsing off after a swim) and shops. Whitianga is a very cool town, really chill with great independent shops and places to eat.

Very pleased with my stay here. Very neat and tidy house, spacious and nice outdoor area. Well stocked inside and comfortable beds. Perfect location in town and close to the beach. The owner Rob was very helpful when I was trying to arrange a booking for a large group, and flexible when my numbers changed. Also very grateful that when I didnt realize accidently over paid he let me know and paid me back. Would highly recommend this place
