The Queen's Gate Hotel

A terrific hotel, lovely quiet location. Still in the main part of Kensington but without the passing high street noise. Recently renovated room 504 had a lovely district view. Perfect size for me, might be a bit small for 2 people, it was a deluxe queen and met my needs perfectly..the most comfortable bed! Absolutely wonderful breakfast buffet. But the best part ..the most lovely staff, nothing was to much trouble they were just delightful to be around. They really took great care in interacting with me..from my nut allergy at breakfast,helping me work the aircon, booking a car transfer, everything was effortless. I would happily return to Queens Gate. 11 out 10 to all the lovely staff!!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. It's a 10-15 min walk from the nearest train station. The room we stayed in, like most places, struggles to fit two open suitcases in, but it still fit them which is great. Coffee pod machine and water replaced daily. Shower essentials are in there. Breakfast has a good range to choose from. They could probably do with being a bit more generous with the meats/salmon. There are extra options to choose from on the breakfast menu that you need to pay for such as smashed avocado. I love the location. All in all, nice place to stay.

Overall it’s a good experience staying in this hotel. Check in is efficient with warm welcome from the staff. Room is newly refurbished and spacious. They replenish water bottle everyday which is nice. The room and bathroom are clean with good bedding and amenities. Breakfast is quite boring though with limited choices. Eggs and sausages taste weird. The hotel is also far from metro which takes around 15min to walk to. Taking bus is easier.
