Overall a good visit at a renovated hotel / small resort. For $141 on a Saturday in February, it was a good deal and worth the price. 2 pools, one being adult only, they were good sized. Only the family was heated so the adult only was more of a cold plunge. Both of the hot tubs were nice. Not too rowdy but there is music bopping during the day. At night it was quiet enough to sleep. The rooms were modern and updated. The flooring in the room was a weird texture and I'm not sure how clean it was. The sheets were not very nice. Overall a good stay at a good value, but I would not be balling out to stay here
This was, without a doubt, the most disappointing place I have ever stayed. The photos online look great, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The woman at reception was rude and dismissive, making us feel unwelcome from the start. We are easygoing travelers and never make requests, but her attitude was unnecessarily unhelpful. When our room pin didn’t work, I returned to reception for assistance, only to have her move us to a different room instead of resolving the issue. The new room was in a less desirable location, but we didn’t complain. Once inside, the room itself was a disappointment. The flooring, which appeared to be carpet in the photos, was actually a sticky, unpleasant mesh that felt too unhygienic to walk on barefoot. We even found someone else’s bra under the bed. The space was so cramped that we struggled to open our suitcases. The bathroom looked modern, but the shower had no hot water throughout our entire stay. Our room did not get serviced. Hoping to salvage the experience, we tried the hot tub on our first night. Unfortunately, when we turned on the jets, a disturbing amount of black debris shot out, making it completely unusable. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, and upon check-in, we noticed black hairs on the sheets. The room was also poorly lit, which made getting ready in the mornings frustrating. We stayed for two nights, and it was easily the worst part of our trip. I wanted to address these issues with reception, but after the way we were treated at check-in and during the room change, I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
As a frequent visitor to Palm Springs for my son’s annual basketball tournament, I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I booked a superior room with two queen beds through Expedia and was placed in Room 318. At first, I simply assumed the room was on the smaller side. However, after visiting rooms booked by eight fellow basketball moms—who had reserved standard rooms—it became clear that our “superior” room was smaller and less equipped than the standard options. Despite paying more, we received less. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention, they stated no other rooms with queen beds were available to accommodate us. Their response was indifferent, and they made no effort to address the discrepancy or offer a fair solution. Adding to the issue, Room 318 shares a patio with Room 317, something we were not informed of prior. This created security concerns, especially with two small children in our group and three adults occupying the neighboring room who frequently used the shared space. We raised these concerns with staff, and while they acknowledged the situation, the manager never came out to speak with us directly. Staff repeatedly disappeared into the back and returned with messages—making it clear the manager was avoiding us. Ultimately, we were offered two complimentary drink vouchers, but our request for a partial refund or alternate accommodations was denied. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and failure to honor the room type we paid for left us extremely disappointed. This will be the last time we stay at this hotel, and I will be advising other basketball teams traveling to Palm Springs to book elsewhere.
