The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat

Just home from a fantastic overnight stay, we’ve been here several times for weddings etc but never stayed. The spa was out of this world, we got a great weekend of weather for it. All the staff for extremely attentive and friendly, a credit to the company. Breakfast was outstanding and the clay ritual this morning was brilliant, unfortunately I came out to a dead battery and Davy from the hotel and another guy helped us get back in the road so big shout out to the hotel for helping with this. Highly recommend and looking forward to a return.

The rabbit is a stones throw from my front door. The warmth i receive from the excellent staff is the best I've received from any hotel. The food is so top notch and the spa facilities are the best in the country. Proud to call them a neighbour!

My partner and I came here for 1 night. The spa facilities were clean and plentiful. We had the clay mask treatment that was phenomenal! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only negative we had is that the room cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch with a glass shard left on the floor from a previous guest going through my partners foot. There is a lack of attention to detail in small things such as having the labels in the mini far facing outwards instead of everything just thrown in. There was a good bit of dust on the lamp shades and around the bedside tables, the bed linen was wrinkled and not tucked in near the pillows, a simple tug on either corner would of improved the whole look of the room. Breakfast was a bit poor, had better breakfasts in 2* motels. Only 1 vegetarian option, small menu, not many options not even apple juice. Eggs Benedict was below average, the fry was good. We did have a great time here it may sound like we are harsh but for the price we paid we expected more attention to detail.
