The Radh Hotel

I visited Radh Hotel Kandy today to celebrate my birthday with their high tea buffet, and I had a wonderful experience! The Manager, Fazmin, and the entire staff were doing an excellent job — they were warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I absolutely loved the savory items and the desserts — everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was a lovely way to celebrate my special day. Highly recommend their high tea buffet if you’re in Kandy!

A TRUE HIDDEN GEM IN KANDY! From the moment I stepped into The Radh, I was blown away by the elegance, warmth, and hospitality this boutique hotel offers. Nestled right in the heart of Kandy, it offers the perfect mix of modern luxury and Sri Lankan charm. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional from the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout our visit. The rooms are immaculate, stylishly designed, and equipped with every amenity you could need. I especially loved the comfortable beds, the luxurious rainfall shower, and the smart lighting system. The food was another highlight breakfast was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with both local and international options. The rooftop pool offers a stunning view of the Temple of the Tooth and the surrounding hills, making it the perfect spot to unwind. What truly sets The Radh apart is the attention to detail and the passion with which they care for their guests. It’s not just a place to stay it’s an experience. Whether you’re visiting Kandy for the first time or returning, The Radh is a must. Highly recommended!

Booked the radh hoping for some luxury after some more rural stays. We were greeted with ice tea and snacks which was lovely and taken to our room. Clean and comfortable but unfortunately only had a Juliet balcony so nowhere to sit. The website had mentioned spa and wellness centre and appeared to have pictures of what looked like a pool. Sadly this was the plunge pool that is only located in the suites. There was no mention of any spa or wellness in the brochure on arrival. There is a small gym but no air con so very warm. We came back during heavy rain to find our ceiling leaking. The lovely lady on the desk arranged an upgraded room for us as we had to repack our belongings and her service was exceptional she had sorted everything very quickly so can’t thank her enough for this. We were also given some complimentary snacks and chocolate which was a truly lovely touch. All staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was lovely with a large range of items. The room provided tea and coffee and some toiletries I believe they are going to put in a rooftop pool which I think to make this a proper luxury hotel is needed. Also note no alcohol served.
