The Reach Key West Curio Collection by Hilton

When the goal is romance, reconnection, and rest, The Reach delivers with quiet luxury and coastal ease. My husband and I slipped away to this Curio Collection property to celebrate our anniversary, and what we found was nothing short of enchanting. Tucked gently at the edge of Old Town Key West, The Reach is one of the only properties in the area with a true private beach. Soft white sand, calm waves and direct sunset views made it feel like we were in on a secret only the lucky few get to know. Even better? Guests also get access to the sister property next door, giving you a touch more to explore. Our room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. An ideal blend of tropical charm and Hilton polish. Each morning, we sipped our smoothies on the balcony as roosters strutted and crowed in the distance (yes, that’s a real thing in Key West and it’s oddly delightful). The energy of the island is so effortlessly laidback, you can’t help but exhale. From beach walks to lazy afternoons by the sea, it was the perfect setting for two people to just be. No rush, no noise… just salty air and good love. Can’t wait to return!

I come here often for my boyfriend’s work and this is my favorite hotel to stay at!! The front desk is always welcoming and happy to accommodate your needs. They always upgrade us if there’s availability during off season without us even asking. The rooms are always super clean and large! The pool is quiet (at least during off season) and everyone is super respectful. The bar & restaurant, especially Bobby, go above and beyond every time we’re here. My favorite place to stay in all of Key west! The location is also ideal - on the beach right off Duval, 10 stars!! They really make it feel like home away from home.

The location of the establishment was pleasant. The room was satisfactory. However, the balcony door was inoperable, there was no microwave, and the refrigerator did not function. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the inaccurate reservations, including our own room and those of our family members. The lack of communication and consideration was exceptionally poor, particularly given that we had booked our wedding at this location and had high expectations of a stress-free experience. I would not recommend this establishment for weddings or extended stays beyond one night. Our initial point of contact, Lori, had assured us that all arrangements, including our room and those of our family members arriving on different days, were in order. Unfortunately, our brother was turned away at 2 am due to the front desk's inability to verify his reservation, as the staff had failed to record the names of the occupants for each room. Despite our prior visit to the front desk to confirm his room, they claimed that the information had not been properly documented, resulting in all rooms being registered under our name. This oversight led to significant frustration. We did not receive the oceanfront view or the group discount code that we were promised, and ultimately had to pay additional fees. The entire experience was marred by errors and poor service. Only after we lodged a complaint did the management offer a pool cabana for one day as a gesture of goodwill. This token attempt at redemption was insufficient to rectify the numerous issues we encountered. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing.
