Really great place to stay. Group of 4 of us stayed here for the Festival of Speed. Rooms are good, decent sized, clean, beds are comfy. Towels changed every day, tea and coffee supplies refreshed each day. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good breakfasts and convenient location for loads on the south coast. Will stay there next time we go to the Festival.
Outstanding staff, both friendly and helpful. Great food, especially the cooked breakfast which is the best value I have ever come across in many years. Perfect for an overnight stay. We had to attend a local event the following day. The surroundings are built up by a main road but it was reasonably quiet. The room was adequate. It was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Used the Red Lion for lunch on a busy Saturday at the start of August to meet with family. Great value, good atmosphere and great staff, served by Amanda, and she was very polite and courteous. Great experience and would recommend. Did not use hotel as live locally, but pub recommend.
