Great clean and quiet rooms with a great breakfast buffet. Nice common rooms to hang out in also. Ample parking for guests inside and outside. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel and staff but shower equipment was not working properly. It was really hard to have a shower. And ı have seen the weirdest choice of sheets in my life. Normally, point is to not touch to blanket directly, but instead of putting blanket into a covering sheet, they put blanket in between two plain sheets which makes a mess once you turn to right or left when you sleep and ending up touching the blanket directly. If they wash the blanket everytime, it is fine. But I dont think that it s a common practice.

It’s been almost a year since I stayed there. That is how long it took me to process what happened to us. We stayed there as we did a lot of research and wanted to stay in a quiet area between Milan and Lake como as we were travelling with our baby. On the last day when we were supposed to leave, after breakfast the receptionist came to us and told us to look at our car. Side-note: We parked across the main doors, the receptionist would have perfect view of it. There was someone at the front desk 24/7. That is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. When we walked outside, our whole car was taken apart. They smashed the window where the car seat was of all the windows they could have smashed. The car was obviously not drivable. We didnt even know what to do. When we asked how this could happen as we assumed the front desk would have noticed someone taking apart a car in front of their hotel that they have perfect view of, the reason was and I am not even kidding: “ there were so many people checking in, it was so busy, they didnt get a chance to even sit down.” Logically if it was so busy, no one noticed a car being taken apart 5 feet away from the door? Smashing the window? The overnight front desk guy “had no idea, usually he would sit down and would see the parking lot but it was just so busy”. Do with that information what you will. As we are packed and ready to go but without a car now, we need to get another. But first we need to do a police report to which we need to make it to the police station, they dont come to the hotel. The staff was extremely unhelpful basically telling us to figure it out. Shoutout to the one staff who did not speak even a bit of English, who drove my husband to the police station and helped him make the report. While they did that, the front desk staff told me I need to leave the room because they are fully booked and we were supposed to check out. Keep in mind I am tending to a baby, who naps/ breastfeeds, etc. I asked them where I am supposed to go, while crying at this point as we cant buy a room because they are sold out and I am not sure where to go because I obviously don’t feel safe to begin with and I am alone now with all of our luggage. My husband is trying to file the report and get another car ( it was a Friday and the dealership we rented from did not have any extra cars so thats what he was dealing with) I guess I was a mess so they backed out of the room and said I can stay. My husband was able to figure out the car situation which was evening time now, setting us behind a day pretty much and we did not like driving at night but we also did not want to stay in this area any longer. I was shaking out the car seat from the glass crying because how am I supposed to ensure that there are no small glass particles left; without any way to obtain another car seat and the overnight front desk staff who was on at that time again, apologized and gave us water bottles. When we asked for at least some sort of compensation they said basically it was our own fault, they had an underground garage ( which was NOT disclosed to us) and when we said that, they said we need to read the small sign they taped to the wall. Again, we are travelling with a baby so small signs are not our priority and from a 4 star hotel you would expect more. The footage was only available to the police due to European privacy laws but apparently they could not see anything. Again, this was in front of the hotel which you would assume is monitored but exactly that area was not caught by cameras. Go figure. Again, do with that information what you will. This has been the worst place to stay at, even from a safety standpoint. It ruined Italy for us. No wonder it had such a bad reputation. Would not recommend, and would never stay here again. The staff made it a 1000 % worse. Also as a side note, make sure to read your car insurance documents carefully as a lot of rental places and credit card car insurances do not cover Italy as a whole or just certain cities. If you travel there it will void your insurance.
