The resort and rooms are very clean, service is fantastic, and staff is very friendly. Food has been great, with breakfast buffet being our favorite so far! It’s on the quieter more relaxing side of resorts. It’s not been at full capacity so getting chairs and cabanas at the pool has been easy and the “pool boss” does a great job of reallocating unused chairs cabanas at 11. Our concierge has been on his A game with reservations of cabanas and restaurants. The cultural shows were enjoyable. Planned activities are nice. It’s nice that the beach is one of the few that are swim-able. 10/10 for relaxing vacation!

If food is an important part of your trip, I honestly don’t recommend Paradisos Los Cabos. We stayed for 7 nights, and while the hotel has some great qualities, the food and overall "all-inclusive" experience were disappointing. The good parts: The hotel is clean, has a relaxing vibe, and the beach and pool areas are beautiful. Staff were very kind and helpful, and the Cabo Adventures desk staff inside the hotel were nice too (though I’ll review the actual Cabo Adventures experience separately). The bad parts: The resort separates guests based on how much they pay, with different wristbands, access to different restaurants, and even a separate pool. It really didn’t feel like a true all-inclusive. For dinner, there were 3 restaurants (Japanese, Italian, Mexican), but usually only two were open, and the quality overall wasn’t great. The Mexican restaurant was decent, but the others were below average. Lunch had only one option with a limited menu that got repetitive fast. And the breakfast bar was basic. We also booked transportation through the hotel, and although it worked, it wasn’t what we paid for — especially on the return trip. Summary: Nice hotel, great staff, and beautiful views — but if you care about food variety, fair all-inclusive access, or getting full value for what you paid, this place might leave you disappointed.

We recently stayed at Paradisus Adults-Only in Cabo San Lucas, and while there were some positives, overall the experience fell short of expectations. Food & Drinks The food was the most disappointing part. Despite being in Mexico, it was surprisingly difficult to find anything truly authentic. The specialty restaurants often served meals that were bland and under-seasoned—particularly the Mexican cuisine restaurant, which we hoped would stand out. Ironically, the best food came from the poolside bar menu, though every order took about 30 minutes to arrive. On the other hand, the drinks were consistently excellent—strong, well-prepared, and served with care. The espresso bar ice cream was also a highlight. Service The staff was the best part of the resort. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. They worked with big hearts, and tipping early seemed to help speed up service. Resort & Atmosphere The property itself wasn’t crowded; I would estimate maybe 200 guests at most. While this provided peace and quiet, it sometimes gave the place a bit of a ghost-town feel. As introverts, we appreciated the calm environment, but there were moments when we wished for a little more energy or zest. Night entertainment was limited to just two karaoke nights during our stay, which didn’t add much variety. Room Quality Our room had some noticeable defects. The front door frame let in light, and it looked like it may have been forced or tampered with in the past. The shower water was much cooler than expected for the first few days, though it improved slightly later. Overall Experience While we appreciated the drinks, the friendliness of the staff, and the quieter atmosphere, the food quality, slow service times, limited entertainment, and room flaws kept this from being a higher-rated stay. For authentic cuisine and flavor, you’ll have better luck eating off-property. Pro Tip: Tip your servers before meals—it often makes the service smoother than waiting until after. Final Note: If I were to visit Paradisus again, I’d choose the Cancun side over Cabo San Lucas. The location here is scenic and calm, but for more variety in food, entertainment, and energy, Cancun side of Mexico seems like the better fit.
