I wanted to share what a truly pleasant experience my recent getaway was. It was the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with my loved ones, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. The gorgeous sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the rejuvenating spa treatments were a definite highlight – I would rate them a perfect 10/10. It was such a nourishing experience, and I truly loved every aspect of our time there, from the lovely rooms to the delicious food and the wonderful sightseeing. It was a tremendous experience overall, and we created some wonderful memories. I'm already looking forward to the possibility of visiting again in the future!
I just want to share the incredible experience I had with Alana at the front desk. Long story short we had some issues and were about to leave, but she is a rockstar and made everything right. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to fix the situation and followed up to make sure we were all good. Further, the hotel is beautiful, love the grounds and everyone is super friendly. But Alana is 15/10! Ask for her!
Just recently went to this Ritz in Santa Barbara. The property is beautiful but you are "Trapped" on the property unless you have a car or Ride share. The rooms were great but the Shampoo and other bottles in the show and sink did not work properly and we and others in our group had to unscrew the tops off and pour it into our hands. (yes we know they needed to be turned a 1/4 turn to work but they didn't). The extras they give you for hygiene packs were cheap paper tear open bags and the product was not what you'd expect from a high-end property. (We recently stayed at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.... That's what High-end should look like). The rooms were nice but the food was WAY overpriced. Breakfast for 2 cost us $135 +, a burger was $36. come on don't gouge because you think you can get away with it. 25 to 30 minutes to Santa Barbara proper so getting up and walking downtown was not an option. The beach was dirty and water was not pretty. They actually give you wipes in the room to wipe the oil off your shoes or feet after walking on the beach. The staff there was 10 out of 10, it wasn't them. Just saying we would never stay here again as there were plenty of high-end hotels right in Santa Barbara that were half the cost on food and drink.
