The Ritz Carlton Langkawi

A recommendable hotel. I visited this place in may last year and stayed for 5 nights. The staffs are friendly, the restaurants are all tasty, the monkeys and lizards are kinda cool. I reserved the hotel’s hiking program, and it was nice to find local birds etc. with the friendly guide. The spa’s good. A bit pricy but definitely worth a go. The sunset at the Horizon is memorable - do visit it at the sunset time during your stay. The foods are all good , including in-room dining. I ended up having every meal in the hotel, never taking a step outside the property. The only con is the buggies. You have to wait forever under the hot sun for a buggie to come - you can see other guests getting baked with you, and the faces get familiar as everyone’s waiting for the buggies everyday. The weather was too hot to walk but I ended up walking half baked several times during my stay. If only something can be done to improve the in-house transportation, it would be super.

It’s hard to name every member of the team because they all go above and beyond to make your experience exceptional. Nestled between lush rainforest and a beautiful stretch of private beach, the resort offers the best of both worlds. Whether relaxing by one of the stunning pools or listening to waves crashing while eagles soar overhead and monkeys call from the treetops, you feel totally immersed in nature. The villas are simply incredible—set amongst pristine, tropical planting, each one designed to feel like a private retreat deep in the jungle, yet with every luxury imaginable. What’s not to love? You won’t regret staying here. In fact, you’ll probably be planning your return before you’ve even checked out.

We had an amazing time! It gets better with every visit. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully designed and absolutely perfect. The breakfast was exceptional, offering an extensive spread with both ala carte and buffet options. We also enjoyed dining at Horizon and Hayan, both outlets delivered great food and service. Looking forward to our next visit already!
