The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is our favorite destination every year. We always find an atmosphere of luxury, tranquility, and unmatched hospitality. This is a very nice hotel but way overpriced. They have a nice arcade and pool and room service was top notch. We had a great time but i think it's better to stay at their Tiruron location and enjoy the pool and lazy river. Then come to this one for the few hrs that you'll be at the beach or watch the sunset. Just to point something out, the balconies railing are NOT up to code. The space between pickets is 5 and even 6 inches instead of 4" or less so it's a hazard for babies and toddlers. Please be extra careful cause the risk of a kid fitting and falling through is very possible.
I have been holding off on writing this review to give the Ritz-Carlton an opportunity to resolve the situation, but after two weeks, nothing has been done. During my stay, my jewelry was stolen from my room. I am deeply disappointed—not only by the theft itself, but also by how poorly the incident has been handled. When I reported it, there was no immediate action. Several hours passed before the security team reached out. Joseph from security was as helpful as he could be, but the case was passed to Marriott Claims, and despite multiple follow-up calls, I have yet to hear anything. I have previously worked for a Ritz-Carlton, and the friend I was traveling with is currently a manager at another Ritz property. This location was aware of that at check-in, which makes this experience all the more surprising. I also work in hospitality and understand how often housekeeping is accused of theft when items are simply misplaced—but in this case, I am certain it was taken. The jewelry was left out in the open on a table in the morning and was gone when we returned that evening. I searched the room thoroughly, unpacked all my belongings, and confirmed I hadn’t inadvertently stored it elsewhere. I did not have a car with me, so it could not have been misplaced there. Two weeks later, it has not turned up. The saddest part is that, aside from this incident, the rest of our stay was exceptional. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed everything else. Stay here at your own risk, and lock all valuables in your safe.
