The Location is critical as you step out of the main entrance as the kind Valet and Doormen open the doors for you. the Metro entrance is throwing distance away from there. This will allow you to see all of what Washington D.C, Pentagon, & Arlington has to offer. The most you travel is 20 minutes on the Metro depending on your tourist location. Most of the attractions are less than 20 minutes away on the Metro. The Metro is super easy, clean, and kind folks all around! As for the hotel, it's different from other Ritz but for health enthusiastic folks the Sauna and Steam Room is fully functioning and a game changer. We experienced a Club Level Room and the Staff & Concierge were extremely kind and caring for us. They constantly pampered my 9 year old daughter with gifts and kindness. The food quality and surprise of choices within the Club Lounge was phenomenal! The staff makes you feel special while assuring you get a feeling that your at Home during your stay. we stayed for 6 Nights and the Staff made us feel like we were always there as if it was our first Day. I cannot explain in words how caring, kind, and thoughtful the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City Staff is to their customers. We look forward to bringing other family members here in the future so they can experience D.C. in the best way.
A Masterclass in Hospitality – Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City From the moment I walked into the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, I felt like I was in the hands of professionals who genuinely care. The staff here aren’t just friendly — they’re world class. Every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping to room service, was warm, thoughtful, and seamless. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained, but it’s the people that make it special. There’s an ease and polish to the service here that’s rare — anticipatory, gracious, and never overdone. You can feel the pride they take in getting it right. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed, with a great balance of comfort and quiet luxury. And while this Ritz doesn’t have a full spa, the wellness facilities (steam room, sauna, and gym) are elevated and well-cared-for — a calm space to recharge. Being connected to the mall and so close to the city made things effortless, but the hotel itself feels like its own peaceful retreat. If you’re considering a stay in D.C., I can’t recommend this property enough. It’s not just a hotel — it’s an experience in how hospitality should be done. I’ll absolutely be back.
I had high expectations for my stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short. While the valet drivers were polite and welcoming, I was surprised that they did not offer to open the driver or passenger doors. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a difference in creating a truly high-quality guest experience—especially at a property that positions itself as upscale. The larger issue, however, was the complete lack of responsiveness from the front desk. I attempted to call multiple times with questions regarding the checkout process, but my calls went unanswered. This level of inattention is unacceptable and left me feeling both frustrated and neglected as a guest. A hotel’s service and attentiveness are just as important as its amenities, and in this case, both fell short. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return and would not recommend this hotel to others seeking reliable service and hospitality.
