The Ritz Carlton Santiago

I was very satisfied with my short stay here. The service was great - both by the front desk and in the restaurant. I got an early check in, which I really appreciated after arriving from a long flight. The room itself was clean and spacious, had all kinds of amenities you would expect, and a turndown service was done. The bed was really comfortable, I slept very well. The views are amazing. Wifi was quick and stable enough to attend video conferences. I visited the restaurant for Lunch and can recommend the Executive menu, which has a good value. The waiter Miguel was very friendly and attentive, and the food tasted really great. Room service was also good, and my ordered food arrived quickly. I loved the wide choice at breakfast (again with great service), unfortunately I had to catch my flight so I didn't have much time, but food came quickly and I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The location is good. Sky Costanera is a 15 min walk away, and there is a Metro station just outside the entrance, making it easy to get around. Using public transportation from/to the airport worked well for me, by taxi it would be about 20 mins. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I could relax on my exhausting business trip, and had a pleasant time. I would definitely book the hotel again when I am back in Chile - hopefully with more time to spend.

Spent eleven days here. What a wonderful hotel. The staff is incredible. From Christian at the front door, Enrique at the desk to the women in the Club Level-Maria Teresa, Catalina and Darian- they made our stay so amazing. Shoutout to Mr. Lobos as well. The hotel itself is located close to restaurants and shopping. Everything is easy to navigate. The hotel restaurant has delicious food and a very professional staff. I would give this ten stars if I could!! A most enjoyable experience.

In some ways, it's the Ritz you'd expect: there is a classy feel to the establishment. Room is comfortable, my bedding requests were honored, and staff is generally very nice. In other ways, it's not the Ritz I expected. No one was there to greet you or help with luggage on arrival. I found a hair on my bed. And printing requires you to email what you need printed to the front desk: I know that is common nowadays, but for a business hotel, it really is not costly to have a printer where people can connect either their laptop or USB, so that they don't have to send sensitive documents by email to a third party to print.
